The Mauna Kea Q3 Market Update is for this beautiful 1,839-acre resort located on the West Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. At the time of this writing (Nov 1st), there were 6 single-family homes and 6 condos for sale in the Mauna Kea Resort, with 1 home and 4 condos in escrow. Of the single-family homes for sale, the highest priced one is listed at $22,900,000, and is located at 62-3617 Kaunaoa Uka Pl in the Kaunaoa community, while the highest priced condo on the market is listed at $2,125,000 and is Waiulaula at Mauna Kea #314.

At the other end of the spectrum, the lowest priced single-family home on the market is at 62-3600 Amaui Pl in Waiulaula and is listed at $2,995,000. While the lowest priced condo currently for sale is listed at $1,275,000 and is also in Waiulaula at Mauna Kea, unit #M201.

Mauna Kea ResortThe sale of single-family homes in Mauna Kea Resort has remained slow and steady the last few quarters, with just one single-family homes selling in Q3, while 7 condos were sold. The single-family home sold for $2,750,000 from a list price of $2,995,000 and is located at 62-3610 Leihulu Pl in the Fairways South. The highest priced condo to sell in Q3 went for $3,600,000, from a list price of $3,900,000 and is Halia Hale #9B in Kaunaoa, while the lowest priced condo to sell was Kumulani at the Uplands #H4. It sold for $965,000, from a list price of $979,000.

Analysis: The sale of single-family homes in Mauna Kea Resort has been slow and steady the last few quarters, which is normal, while condo sales in Q3 reached their highest level in a year. It seems the Covid pandemic has not negatively affected the market in Mauna Kea Resort.
