Waikoloa Village Real Estate Market Update Q1 2016

Waikoloa Village is a community located 6 miles inland from the west coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. At the time of this writing (May 20th), there were 44 homes and 43 condos for sale in Waikoloa Village. Of the homes for sale, the most expensive one currently on the market is listed at $1,100,000, and is located at 68-1875 Malina Place, while the most expensive condo on the market is listed at $567,000 and is located in the Pointe at Waikoloa #15.  At the other end of the spectrum, the lowest priced home on the market is located at 68-3528 Makuahine St and is listed at the low price of $313,747. While the lowest priced condo currently on the market is listed at $154,000 and is Unit D205 in the Fairway Terrace.

When it comes to sales in the 1st Quarter, the number of homes sold outpaced the number of condos sold by more than double. In the time from January 2016 through March 2016 there were 37 homes sold in Waikoloa Village, while 17 condos were sold. Of those homes sold, the most expensive was located at 68-1668 Meipala Place at the sale price of $675,000, while the most expensive condo sold for $425,000 and is Unit #1 at the 17th Fairway @ Waikoloa. The lowest priced home to sell during the 1st Quarter was a home located at 68-1782 Laie St that had a sale price of $165,000, while the condo with the lowest sale price went for $138,000 and was located in, once again, Fairway Terrace, Unit K206.
